Father Aloysius Schwartz founded a religious congregation, the Sisters of Mary, in Korea in 1964. They continue their work for and with the poorest of the poor not only in Korea, but also in Africa and Latin America and since 1985 in the Philippines.
After a rocky start in life, more than 160,000 young people have already found a second home with the Sisters of Mary and received the best possible support. We can build on this together.

After the death of Father Aloysius Schwartz, founder of the Congregation of the Sisters of Mary and its charity program The Sisters of Mary Schools (SMS), the Fostering Association of Filipino Entrepreneurs (FACFI), was established.

Since 1974, donors from German-speaking countries have contributed significantly to the upkeep of the schools and training workshops of the "Sisters of Mary". The school lessons, the safe accommodation and the three daily meals are only possible because friends from Germany also faithfully support the Sisters with their donations.
